In the Studio With…

[F]ashion can be a lot of things from edgy to extreme… but every now and then it can be the total essence of beautiful. Perhaps I’m drawn to Lela Rose because of our Texas roots but I’m also a fan for what she gives to women, the confidence to be lovely.  I had to stop by her design studio to see what she had in store and talk about just what the inspiration was for Spring.

A great source of inspiration for the collection came from artist Jim Hodges “This Line To You“. Above Lela shows me a floral pattern indicative of the ink flowers drawn on napkins from the book.

Below, the artist’s metal chain cobweb was the inspiration for the neckline in the top cover image.

Psst- Did you know I wore Lela Rose for this?

  • I’m amazed by how the inspiration came so beautifully into fruition. Bravo Lela Rose.
    Wonderful photos Jamie.
