New Orleans Museum of Art

“Museums are my favorite places to go alone or with my brother, Chad.  I am fascinated with history and culture so I truly find visiting the museum enlightening and so peaceful.  The architecture of NOMA is beautiful too.  It is located in City Park and has great exhibits.  What more could you ask for?!”

Bouligny Tavern

“I love this lounge.  It is located on Magazine Street close to our office so I am frequently there with my girlfriends enjoying a glass of wine and ordering their Gouda Beignets!  The interiors are very mid-century modern with dim lighting and banquette seating.  It’s the perfect bar lounge.”

La Petite Grocery

“I’ve been frequenting this restaurant quite often lately!  I just love how the space actually began as a tiny local grocery store years ago.  It still has some of the original interiors which you can see in the photographs hanging in the space.  It’s a very relaxing restaurant with excellent food.”

The Polo Lounge at the Windsor Court Hotel

“It’s great for drinks before or after dinner…or anytime really!  I often have tea here as well.  On the weekends there is live music.”

Marti’s Restaurant

“This restaurant is a new local favorite of mine.  The interiors are fabulous!  You really feel as though you are taken back in time there.”

Kevin Gillentine Gallery

“Absolutely my favorite gallery and frame shop in the city.  We get everything framed here and the artwork is beautiful.”

Promenade Fabrics

“This local fabric shop sells the most beautiful apparel fabrics.  They have ribbons galore and the owners are wonderful.”

Em’s Clothing

“Em’s Clothing shop has the best variety of on-trend clothing.  If you need something she has it!”

Keife and Co.

“This is a local wine shop right down the road from me.  They have a fabulous selection of wine and fun wine tastings every Thursday evening.  Everything from here is good!”

“For shopping, The Uptowner Antiques is great as well as The Shops at 2011. Both are on Magazine Street.

Jackson Square in the French Quarter

“My weekend work-out routine always includes a walk to the Square from my warehouse district apartment.  It’s just incredibly beautiful and a wonderful view of our city.”

Of course, I can’t go to Jackson Square without indulging in one of my New Orleans favorite guilty pleasures

Yes, yes, yes, to NOLA!! NOLA is a shopper’s and foodies delight because we have it all right here. Great photos of one of America’s best cities.

  • I’ve yet to travel to New Orleans. Hopefully that will change this year…

I’ve always wanted to go to New Orleans ! It’s stunning ! Hopefully some day 🙂 x

  • Coquette is an AMAZING French-inspired bistro on magazine street. I had a grilled cheese there with lamb confit and some kind of marmalade, their steak frites is fabulous, the coffee is killer, and their desserts are always to die for. That is a must-do for me every time I visit. Also, the lavender white hot chocolate at Sucre is heaven in a cup.

Amen to the Polo Lounge. It was a welcome oasis from the heat of the city when I was there for business one July. Love the Windsor Court.
