A New Class of Designers

As you know, we love working with the CFDA. They work to support up-and-coming designers with the CFDA Incubator program, and this latest class of incredible designers happened to include two we’ve worked with before – the lovely Misha Nonoo and Katie Ermilio (Katie even designed my wedding dress!). So when we were asked to take the official portraits of the 2014 class of designers, we couldn’t wait. We created an entire portrait set up in our studio and the designers came in and out throughout the day (which you can see in the time lapse video above!).

It was so wonderful to meet all of you, CFDA Incubator class of 2014! Now tell us…

“Fashion is a way to express yourself!”

  • Love, love, love. I’m always fascinated to see what an artist or designer looks like. Oftentimes us artists share our work, not ourselves, which I find very strange since art seems WAY more personal than what we happen to look like.

  • Accademia di Moda

We love the CDFA too! They really bring fashion design to the forefront of our culture! It’s such atreat to actually see the designers come to the center instead of their designs! Thank you for sharing with us!

  • Miranda Pollitt

So interesting seeing all of these designers! My favorite way to look and view different designers is through purelyapp.com or through their iPhone app! You can look through designers, collections, and even create lookbooks with your favorite looks. I found so many new designers through the app!

  • So exciting to have new creative up and coming designers grace the fashion world. Hopefully each could put an innovative and trendy spell on our sense of style. I wish success to all of them equally. XoXo
